Foresite, Inc. wanted a web-based application to replace a 14-year-old Microsoft Access application. The system includes Customer and Contact management and tracks Sales Calls, Quotes and Projects to run failure analysis tests on integrated circuit boards. The application tracks and reports all aspects of the project flow from receiving the boards to be tested through recording test results and returning boards to customers. The new solution is built with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019, ASP.NET MVC 5, SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server Reporting Services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.

Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency

Alpena, Michigan

NEMCSA wanted a web-based time and attendance system to track employees’ hours worked, breaks and vacation usage. Workflow includes automated notifications when submitted for supervisor approval and when approved. Additional modules include capabilities for submitting and approving purchase orders, receipts, and mileage as well as tracking bus maintenance and inspections. Also modified an existing Microsoft Access expense tracking application to allocate expenses based proportionally between accounts based on the program for which the expense was incurred. The solutions were built using Visual Studio 2019, ASP.NET MVC 5, SQL Server 2017 and SQL Server Reporting Services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Microsoft Access 2013.

Genesis Building Systems

Genesis wanted their existing Windows Forms application ported to a cloud-based solution. The complete application rebuild provided an opportunity to add features identified over the last five years that will improve their business processes. Calendar-based scheduling features were added, with management views as well as user-oriented views, along with an offline capability to allow the application to continue working with locally-cached data when internet connection is lost. The solution was built using Visual Studio 2022, ASP.NET Core 6 and Blazor, Azure SQL Server, HTML5, and CSS3.
