Since 1990, Logical Imagination has been a premier technology training choice for corporate America. Our instructors have taught 50,000+ students! During that process, we have designed hundreds of custom courses and training manuals.
With the rise of e-learning, our instructional designers have added to their arsenal tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia.
We build everything from microlearning modules (small, specific bursts of training that are quick and easy to digest) to complex, immersive modules that incorporate gamification and quizzes.
Types of E-Learning
E-Learning varies in complexity. Some resembles a basic PowerPoint presentation, and others rival a Disney Pixar production. To determine the level of interactivity required for your e-learning project, consider your subject matter, target audience, technology environment and budget. Typically, projects fall into one of three categories:
E-Learning that is informative takes a linear, passive approach that contains 75%+ text and demands little of the learner; however, it may also include:
- Graphics and images
- Simple animations
- Basic quiz questions
E-Learning that is interactive takes a linear, active approach that contains more complex simulations and scenarios and may also include:
- Navigation menus, glossaries, or links to resources
- Clickable animated graphics, audio or video
- Scenario-based case studies and examples
- More elaborate exercises and quizzes
E-Learning that is immersive takes a non-linear, real-time approach that frequently involves gaming technology and may also include:
- 3D simulations
- Custom videos, interactive 3D objects, and digital avatars
- Simulations involving branching or pathing
- Case study-based tests and assessments
Sight, sound and motion create emotion! Company videos are the best way to connect with potential customers and create a personalized, memorable experience that helps customers feel familiar with your brand and services.
Did you know that 73% of consumers say they are more likely to buy a product after watching videos that explain how it works?
From conception to editing and optimization, we produce great videos for e-learning projects, YouTube, presentations, demonstrations, tutorials, websites or social media marketing needs. We even have drone video capabilities!

A Small Taste of Our WorkPrevious
Storytelling in Recruiting
This is a simple, informative e-learning session (very little interactivity). The client wanted to teach recruiters how to incorporate storytelling into the recruiting process, and they wanted to emphasize the value of their internal mentor network. So, we created a scenario in which a recruiter sought the assistance of a mentor, who then guided them through a 4-step storytelling process. At the end of each step, the learner could download worksheets that would give them an opportunity to practice their skills. This clip shows the end of the discussion with the mentor and the first step…
